New Class Members!

Room 0 have some new class members - TADPOLES!!!

Our Tadpoles will grow and turn into Frogs.
We have been reading about the life cycle of a frog.

Eggs - tadpoles - grow back legs - grow front legs - tail gets smaller (froglets) - frogs, then the female frog lays eggs again when she is about 3 years old and the cycle starts again!

Come in and check out our Tadpoles!

Wow - the term is flying!

Mrs Eade can hardly believe how quickly the term is just flying by!  It's week 7 already!

Only 3 weeks to go after this one ends.  We have been working so hard in Room 0.

Today we joined in with all the little stars - we love being able to show the kids not yet at school what we can do and how clever we all are.

We have a few new faces in our class last week with Calab, Neela, Georjah and Jayden joining us.  We now have 9 kids in our class!!  We can't wait for Harry to start and then we will have 10 kids!

Mrs Eade hopes parents are enjoying reading each night with their children and encouraging them to learn their sight words and alphabet letters and sounds, remember that these are so important for us to learn and know as they will help us with our reading and our writing - wow!!

Kia Ora everyone!

If you have a spare minute or two, go and have a look at our Maths and Writing pages, Mrs Eade has added some of our fabulous work!

I hope everyone is enjoying the sunshine, we love being able to get outside and have a run around at morning tea and lunch time.

Today we got to go out with Room 1 and practice our passing and catching and also bouncing with a big ball.  We are also learning how to play "Rob the Nest", we are working hard to take turns and listen carefully to the instructions.  Mrs Eade will try and remember to take her camera out next week so she can take some photos of our amazing ball skills!
